For anyone who has viewed our site over recent years you would have seen the steady growth in the size of our team.

We are growing on average at 10% per year and have ambitious plans for future growth in the coming years.

Opportunities abound within Friend & Grant and below are a list of our current vacancies.

Even if you can't see a fit that exactly suits you if you have been working in practice for at least 2 years and are interested in joining a dynamic and forward-thinking practice then please contact us. If you are a high quality candidate we will endeavour to find a position for you, particularly if we can identify new business opportunities for expansion.

If you don't have practice experience but believe you have a skill which would benefit our client base of over 1,000 clients (companies, individuals, charities, trusts etc..)(legal skills- particularly probate/will, finance sourcing skills, IT skills) then please contact us.

Please also note we are passionate about training our own people. Unlike many of our competitors we do not believe in outsourcing work abroad.  We currently have 7 trainees studying AAT, ACA and the ACCA examinations.

New corporate tax manager: this is a new role in the practice. Ideally the successful candidate will already be an experienced corporate tax manager or a corporate tax senior looking for that first managerial role. We are looking for a dynamic individual with corporate tax experience to take over full responsibility for corporate tax to free our existing tax manager and head of the department to develop the personal tax side of the practice and probate services. The successful candidate will aid the directors and accounts managers in identifying corporate tax opportunities in areas such as R&D, company share options, group restructuring, demergers, buy back of own shares, incorporation tax planning and much more. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in practice development. We would also like the succesful candidate to be involved in corporate tax compliance and VAT planning. Our new corporate tax manager will be part of a 5 strong tax team. We are looking for a dynamic individual, highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, who is hungry to learn and to develop a strong role in our fast growing practice.

Salary would be competitive £40K+. 

Exceptional marketing / business development manager: this is a new role in the practice. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven record in helping SME businesses to grow. You will be required to help both the company itself and clients to grow through the use of our in house tools- the business growth vault- and the development of new service offerings. You will need to be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, be energetic and enthusiastic. We would expect you to generate a  strategy to attract business in areas such as business development, corporate finance, business acquisitions and disposals.
