At Friend & Grant we have an ongoing schedule of business seminars aimed at all sectors of the business community.
In 2007 our seminars commenced in February with our ever popular Business Startup seminar. This was followed in March by a seminar on the important changes faced by those who operate within the building sector. Our Construction Industry Scheme seminar also proved popular and both seminars were extremely well received by all who attended them.
Continuing our mission to provide both interesting and practical advice to local business owners we held two seminars on 14 November 2007 on the subjects of Employment Law and Health & Safety Legislation. These seminars provided advice on how to protect businesses and covered all the critical pitfalls to be avoided to ensure business owners are not taken to Tribunal. We were proud to present guest speakers from Croner Consulting who are experts in these fields. Again the feedback we received was very encouraging; in particular our attendees were very impressed with the speakers and interested in the content which they found specific and informative.
Our seminars are usually carried out at our offices in Strood near Rochester where we have the facilities to provide small seminars for up to 22 people.

If you require Sage Book-keeping or Payroll training or Quickbooks training please enter TRAINING in the free text box next to the title Business Sector. Our training is one to one and charged at £60 per hour plus VAT (each session has to be a minimum of 1.5 hours). For training within the Medway towns of Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Rainham and Gillingham there are no costs for travelling time. Outside of this area we charge £25 per hour travelling time. Our training is carried out by Lisa Brown, a Sage Authorised Trainer, and is therefore to the highest standard.
